This policy describes what CinLo actually does with personal information. We have written it against our own systems rather than from a template, so if something is not described here, we are not doing it.
Who we are
CinLo LLC ("CinLo", "we", "us") is a Texas limited liability company. We build and operate CinLo Lead Response, an AI system that answers enquiries for small businesses, qualifies them, points them to booking, and follows up.
Two different relationships
How we handle your information depends on how you reached us.
- You visited cinlo.tech or contacted us directly. CinLo decides how your information is used, and this policy governs it in full.
- You messaged a business that uses CinLo. That business decides what happens with your information; we process it on their instructions as their service provider. Their own privacy policy governs the relationship. We describe our handling below so you can see exactly what we do on their behalf.
If you messaged a business and want your information removed, the fastest route is to ask that business directly, since it is their record. You can also contact us at lonnie@cinlo.tech and we will act on their instruction.
What we collect
If you visit cinlo.tech
Our marketing site has no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider records standard server logs for security and reliability. The "what are missed leads costing you" calculator runs entirely in your browser — the numbers you type are never sent to us or stored anywhere.
If you message a business through a CinLo chat widget
- What you write. The full content of your messages, kept as a conversation record.
- Contact details you choose to give — typically a name and an email address or phone number. We do not require them to chat.
- Conversation metadata — which business you contacted, which channel, and timestamps.
- Your IP address, used only to rate-limit abuse of the public chat endpoint. It is not linked to your conversation record or used to profile you.
- A conversation identifier stored in your browser so your chat continues where you left off. It is a random identifier, not a tracking cookie, and it is not shared with anyone.
If you are a business using CinLo
The details you enter when configuring your account — business name, services, tone, booking link, qualifying questions, the email address where lead alerts are sent, your postal address for email compliance, and the value you assign to a new customer. We also set a session cookie when you sign in to the owner tools.
Businesses in our own sales research
We maintain a list of local businesses we may approach about our services. It is built from publicly listed business information — business name, category, address, business phone, website, rating, review counts and short excerpts from public reviews. Review excerpts are stored without the names of the people who wrote them. This is business contact information, not personal accounts, and these businesses have no relationship with us unless they choose to start one.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
- To understand what you need and share the business's booking link
- To send one follow-up message if a conversation goes quiet, and then stop
- To alert the business when an enquiry needs a person
- To show the business its own enquiries and how quickly they were answered
- To protect the service from abuse and to diagnose faults
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use the content of conversations to train AI models.
Automated replies, and where a human steps in
Replies are generated by AI. To do that, the content of a conversation is sent to our AI provider, together with the configuration the business has written about itself. The system is set up to hand a conversation to a person when it involves pricing negotiation, complaints, anything the business has flagged as sensitive, or anything it is unsure about. A person at the business can read any conversation and reply directly at any time.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers to run the service. They may only process information to provide their service to us.
| Provider | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting and the database where conversations are stored |
| Anthropic | Generating the AI replies; receives conversation content |
| Resend | Delivering emails, such as follow-ups and alerts |
| Public business listings used for our own sales research only |
We also share your conversation with the business you contacted — that is the point of the service. If a booking link takes you to another site, that site's own privacy policy applies from that point.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people using the service.
How long we keep it
We keep a conversation record for as long as the business we are serving has an account with us, because it is their customer record. When that account ends, or when the business asks us to remove a record, we delete it. You may also ask us directly and we will act on it.
Rate-limiting records containing IP addresses are short-lived and cleared automatically.
Your choices
- Stop receiving messages. Every email we send to an enquirer carries an unsubscribe link, and replying stop in a chat opts you out immediately. Opting out of one business does not opt you out of another — each is separate.
- See or delete your information. Email lonnie@cinlo.tech. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your information, or to object to its use. We honour these requests regardless of where you live.
- Do not provide contact details. You can use a chat widget without giving a name, email or phone number.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. The owner tools are behind a password and every request is checked against what that account is allowed to see, so one business cannot reach another's records. Public endpoints are rate-limited. Our AI provider credentials are held server-side and never exposed in a browser. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we treat conversation records as confidential, because they are.
Children
CinLo is a tool for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes to how we use existing information will be communicated to the businesses we serve.
